This folder expands on ../PRODUCT.md with product, market, positioning,
and publication detail that does not belong in the compact top-level product context.

What lives here

DocSlime is still a small open-source developer tool, but the product frame is broader than
the old scaffold-only positioning. These are the natural homes for deeper detail as the
product grows:

• Market & users — teams using AI agents across services and user-facing products.
• Competitive landscape — alternatives (wikis, doc generators, ad-hoc docs/
  conventions) and how DocSlime differs by being agent-fillable, standardized, and
  traceability-oriented.
• Positioning & messaging — how DocSlime is framed; currently captured in the project README.
• Publishing — how DocSlime docs move into the docmd.io system.
• Roadmap — sequencing of future bets (e.g. customizable layouts, a --path flag — see open questions in ../2-REQUIREMENTS.md).
• Pricing / business model — not applicable for the CLI today; DocSlime is free and open source.
